At the Lagoon
May 22, 2008As promised, here is a picture of myself the night we went shopping and had dinner at the famous Manokan Country in Bacolod. Afterwards we had halo-halo at Chowking then strolled at the Lagoon nearby.

The winner takes it all
The most awaited boxing rematch of De La Hoya and Mayweather is coming soon! It is a good fight that everybody loves to watch out. I am sure my cousin and her husband based in the US are waiting for this fight for they love sports especially boxing. Avid fans of De La Hoya and Mayeather Jr. are also excited to see their bets play against each other again and find out who will win this time. Crowds will gather in the venue again. Will it be in Vegas? Will it break pay-per-view records like last time? You better buy Mayweather/De La Hoya tickets now. But for those who can’t see it in person, they’ll just stay at home waiting for the fight. Nobody wants to miss a round.
Actually boxing is too dangerous, but it seems they enjoy the fight and of course there‘s dignity in winning. In fact there are lots of boxers now a days who become rich and famous. If I were them I should retire early as soon as possible for we don not know the harm it can do to the body. Just imagine fighting each other and there are times when they strike and hit the nose, mouth, face, etc. It’s too risky.
Anyway, we will just wait and witness the marvelous fight of the year, the rematch of Oscar De La Hoya vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. And for you not to miss the game, buy your tickets early!
